Isagenix International was founded in 2002 in Gilbert, Arizona, by retired entrepreneurs Jim and Kathy Coover along with formulator John Anderson. The company sells nutritional cleansing and weight-management systems, protein and meal-replacement shakes, and personal-care products, distributing them through a network-marketing (direct-selling) model in which independent Associates earn through retail sales and a multi-level compensation structure. Jim and Kathy Coover acquired majority ownership from Anderson in 2005; Jim Coover serves as chairman and Kathy Coover as executive vice president, with Anderson retained as master formulator. Isagenix opened its 150,000-square-foot Gilbert, Arizona world headquarters in 2016 as the first corporate tenant of the Rivulon development.
