Overview

LifeVantage Corporation was founded in 2003 (originally as Lifeline Therapeutics, a Denver-based nutraceutical company that later renamed itself LifeVantage) around the commercialization of Protandim, a supplement developed from university research into nutrigenomics, the study of how nutrients influence gene expression. The company later expanded into additional health, skincare, and weight-management product lines. LifeVantage operates as a direct-selling (network marketing/MLM) company, distributing its products through a global network of independent consultants who purchase products for personal use and resale and who can also enroll and support other consultants. Consultants are compensated under the company's "Evolve" unilevel-based sales compensation plan, which includes retail/sharing commissions and team-building bonuses.
