Corrections

This page explains how to report an error on any page of plondo.com. Plondo publishes educational content and product pages, and Plondo can get a fact wrong. If you find an error, tell Plondo through the contact page or by email. Plondo checks every report against the source record and fixes a confirmed error as soon as possible.

The difference between an update and a correction

Plondo updates a page for many reasons that are not corrections. A price change, a new feature, a refreshed screenshot, or added detail is an update. An update reflects a change in the underlying facts, not an error in what Plondo published before.

A correction is different. A correction means a specific fact, figure, date, quote, or claim was wrong at the time Plondo published it. Plondo tracks corrections separately from routine updates so a reader can tell the two apart.

How to submit a correction

To report a possible error, go to the contact page, choose General Inquiry, and describe the error in the message field. State the page URL, the exact text or claim you believe is wrong, and the source that supports your correction if you have one.

You can also email Plondo directly at [email protected] with the same details.

What happens after you submit a correction

Plondo reads every correction report. A reviewer checks the reported claim against the original source record before any change is made.

Plondo does not overwrite a public page silently. When a reported error is confirmed, Plondo corrects the page and updates its last modified date so the change is visible.

Plondo keeps an internal record of each correction report and the decision made on it, so there is an audit trail for every change made under this policy.

Material corrections log

This section will list every material correction Plondo makes to a published page, with the date of the correction and a short note on what changed.

No material corrections have been logged yet.

Response time

Plondo aims to acknowledge a correction report within a few business days and to resolve a confirmed error soon after that.

This response time is a goal, not a guarantee. A complex claim can take longer to check against the source record.
