Rank

Rank is a title a distributor earns by meeting a company's stated requirements, typically a minimum personal volume, a minimum group volume, and sometimes a minimum number of personally sponsored active distributors, over a set qualification period. Rank usually unlocks a higher commission percentage, a bonus pool share, or eligibility for company recognition and rewards.

Also called: title, level, rank advancement

Why it matters

Rank is the main progress marker in most compensation plans, and it is often the single biggest driver of how much a distributor's income can grow, since higher ranks frequently unlock override percentages or leadership pools that lower ranks cannot access.

Example

A company might require 100 PV, 5000 GV, and three personally sponsored active distributors, each qualified at a set rank, before a distributor can advance to its Senior Director title.
